I make happiness so unattainable

Husband: I am happy, why do you think I am not?

Me: Good question 🧐 I make happiness so unattainable that I don’t see it when is near. I dwell in the ideas of something so grand that I can’t have it. I long to be like you; happy for the simple things, without the imaginary fireworks.
